Welcome to Teamworks H.V.H.S 2012. This year our department has four mixed ability classes at Year Nine (9MH, 9PL, 9WA, 9UN) and three classes at Year Ten (10EE, 10HP, 10EK). A big welcome to all new and existing students, parents and teachers.
New Staff:
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome new Teamworks staff on our teaching team: Stuart Waring (WA), Shelley Meehan (ME), Nick Larkin (LN) and Leslie Titheridge (TT).Key Competencies:
Each term Teamworks classes focus on a different Key Competency (life skills, values and attitudes from the NZ Curriculum). This term our competency is Relating to Others. In particular teachers will facilitate students abilities to 'interact effectively with a diverse range of people in different contexts.' This will mean using activities in class that develop listening, negotiating and cooperative skills.
